iamamiwhoami - paper bird

This is a series for my graduation project on the Royal Academy of Art. I'm making several series about music. For some of them I work together with bands and some of them are inspired by the music of bands. This is part of a series inspired by the music project "iamamiwhoami" [link] . In this music-video project there is a lot of mysteriousness and hidden meanings. I made a series of photos inspired on this project where I've given my own interpretation on things in the video and the meaning and stories I think is behind it.

In this photo I'm showing the influence people have on nature and the quietness of nature. People nowadays use nature instead of enjoying it and living in balance with it. The paper bird shows the artificial aspect of humans that enters nature like a dark threatening thing.
