I made this one in the forest today 
My entry for the Winterdream 2005 Photography Contest
"Photograph what winter is for you. Is it tobogganing with friends... building a snowman that resembles your math teacher or sitting in front of a romantic fire with a loved one?"
We only had one day with snow here.. I went to the forest and made this photo. There are a lot of things I like about winter; snow, snow fights, building a snowman, the beauty of the nature. It's wonderful if you wake up in the morning and look out of your window and see a white world.. But it's not just the white snow that makes the world beautiful, it are also the things that aren't white. Like the red flowers in the photo. I went to the forest and all the trees and the grass were covered with snow. The trees are dead and most of the flowers too but there were still some flowers growing in the middle of the snow.

This is so sweeet Really like the colors, the warm red and the cold blue, they are really nice together, though I think a little brightness woudnt hurt. I really like the composition with the flowers pretty centered, and the branch(?) going from one cornor to the opersite. Also the blured background makes is nice because it does not steal the attention from the flowers, and yet not being booring
